Kelp harvested in E China's Shandong

Photo taken on Mar. 30, 2021 shows an intense working scenery of people harvesting kelp in eastern China’s City of Rongcheng. The city has been long known as the biggest kelp-cultivation base in China with an area of 139 thousand mu (equals to 9266 hectares). Rongcheng has contributed to 80 percent of the kelp output of Shandong Province and 40 percent across China. (Yang Zhili/Guangming Picture)
